Aquaila Barnes

Aquaila began her journey in finance over 20 years ago. In 1992, she and her mother, Gail A. Barnes, CPA, founded Barnes Financial Services (BFS), a family-operated practice based in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 2000, Aquaila expanded BFS by establishing an East Coast presence in New York City. With a unique blend of analytical and creative skills, Aquaila saw an opportunity to combine her expertise in numbers with her passion for the arts. This approach fueled the growth of the New York office, attracting a diverse clientele—including actors, writers, designers, consultants, educators, production companies, health practitioners, and more—who valued a personalized service tailored to their unique professions.
